The Siguanaba’s Hammock

In Central America, there are some incredible trees called, Amates. They tend to be associated with demons and creatures from beyond like the Siguanaba. Central Americans advise not to approach these beautiful and mysterious trees. Everyone says that through them, the demons and many mysterious beings from the underworld wish to contact you and take control of your soul.

Over the years, some men, who were captured by the Siguanaba more than once, observed a peculiar pattern in her actions. They noticed that the large and leafy branches of some Amate trees in the Lempa River moved from side to side without any breeze or wind. In these specific trees, she rests in her hammock (figure 1), waiting for any courageous man who tries to flirt with her.

Pay attention to these trees! Say all the survivors! Get out of that place! The Siguanaba is even more powerful there than anywhere else! Her tits can hypnotize you and make you her slave for that night! You won’t be able to escape her charm! Get out of there!

One of the survivors swore Kakasbal is the one who gave the Siguanaba her hammock. He says that the night he was enslaved, it took him uncountable hours to regain his consciousness. In the early morning of that day, the demonic beast showed up and reminded Siguanaba about their agreement. She had to have a clear why he had allowed her to retain her magical hammock. After this, he vanished one more time.

It was at this moment that he was able to run and escape from that mystical place.

The vast majority of these cases happened to unfaithful men. However, in this place, everyone agrees that the Siguanaba has immeasurable powers that allow her to take control of all men. The Amate tree empowers her with all the wicked spirits it possesses. Therefore, no one can escape! She stretches her hammock in it and rocks it constantly, and this is why even without any wind, the tree shakes its branches.

Be careful! The next time you’re walking at night near the Lempa River. If you recognize a beautiful tree that is shaking or moving its branches without any wind, RUN because a charming woman can appear in front of you. And if she does, she will seduce you and transform you into her night slave. Later, in the early morning, when you finally wake up from her spell. You will see her true face, a demonic figure with a terrifying laugh that can break any soul! If you are lucky, you will escape and return home sick and full of pain as if a thousand lashes hit you. Take care of your soul!

The Cuyancua

Long ago, when the Maya people used to live in El Salvador, at the end of a dry season, some Indians discovered an uncommon animal near a river, which was massive and was half-pig and half-snake (figure 1). The Indians tiptoed and tried to approach it, when, suddenly, they heard a dark squawk, and the animal slid on the river and started to rain. Comizahual “The White Woman”

In the 13th century, a white woman appeared on Honduras’s north coast. The Lenca people were surprised by her appearance since she looked completely atypical to them. They wondered where she came from because she was able to speak their mother tongue as if she was any of them. Plus, she understood all their traditions and rituals. The white woman started traveling through the entire Lenca region between Honduras’s north coast and the southeast part of El Salvador.
